What are burned-in captions?
Short answer
Burned-in captions — also called open captions — are subtitles drawn permanently into the video picture, so they appear everywhere the video is posted, including WhatsApp Status and muted autoplay feeds. Closed captions are a separate file the viewer can switch on or off. DINEX UGC burns captions in your brand colour in one of three styles: Bold, Standard or Minimal.
The three styles on DINEX UGC
- Bold: big centred words; the spoken word lights up in your colour.
- Standard: sentence captions in a box in your colour, near the bottom (recommended).
- Minimal: small clean white text, low on the screen.
You can change the style later without paying again.
